Following the decision of the Council of Ministers of 12.06.2024, the State Reserve and War-Time Stocks Agency provides free of charge released state reserves and war-time stocks for social homes in Veliko Tarnovo Municipality.

The State Reserve will support social services in the district with 21,569 pieces of personal protective equipment, including masks, balaclavas, protective goggles and helmets and over 8,838 kg of canned food products.

The aid will serve the needs of 13 social services providing residential care for the elderly and mentally retarded adults, which is a state-delegated activity.
The released quantities are in accordance with a reasoned request received by the President of the State Reserve and Wartime Stocks from the Mayor of Veliko Tarnovo.
The transfer of the materials will take place as soon as possible, with the logistics and handover being organised at the expense of the State agency.
